The Problem With Private Servers

Okay, Due To The Fact That There Have Been Many People Saying That Creating A MapleStory Private Server Requires Extensive Knowledge In MySQL, C++, Hex Editing, Packet Sniffing, Packet Emulating, Port Forwarding, Debugging Of Code Errors And, Also, Knowing Which Codes Can Remove Flash Jump Delays (Fun), I Have Decided To Try And Create A Private Server. xD

That's An Extremely Huge And Daunting List, Correct?
And It Scares Most People Into Thinking, "Forget This Shit, I'm Gonna' Join A Private Server Instead."

Well, I'm Gonna' Freakin' Create A Bloody Private Server My Bloody Self.
Why?
I'm Bored.

Okay, About 8+pm And I Started..
I Had To Download All My Needed Applications.

8+PM:
GMS v0.55, Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition.

Note: Visual C++ Errors Whenever Installing

12.48AM:
Finally Got Visual C++ To Install Correctly After Over An Hour.
Downloading MySQL, Boost C++ Libraries (To Speed Up C++ With Multithread Debugging)

12.54AM:
MySQL Is Successfully Installed, Boost C++ Libraries Still Installing.
Closed "explorer.exe" With TaskManager To Minimize Computer Lag.

Note: Computer Lag Has Decreased Significantly, Approx. 78%

1.00AM:
Downloading Of MySQL GUI Tools Package Started.
Boost C++ Libraries Still Installing. (48%)

1.07AM:
Downloaded And Installed SVN.
Created A Trunk Root Folder With SVN.
Got VEDB In Vana Folder.
Boost C++ Libraries Still Installing. (75%)
Reading Up On Using MySQL To Load Core SQL Files And VEDB Files.

Note: Lag Has Totally Disappeared. Boost C++ Libraries Is Taking Too Damn Long. =.=

1.16AM:
Boost C++ Libraries Error-ed.
Installation Restarted.

Note: MySQL Database Management Deemed Easy. I'm Hungry.

1.33AM:
Staring At The PC Screen.
Boost C++ Libraries Finished Downloading.
Boost C++ Libraries Is Taking Forever To Install. Like Visual C++.

Note: I'm Freakin' Cold And It's Dark And Cramped. I'm Hungry.

Sat On The Floor Near My PC To Rest.
Head Hurts.
Continuing To Stare At PC Screen.

Boost C++ Libraries Has Finally Finished Installation.
Starting Actual Coding Of Maple Private Server.
Managing SQL Database.

Note: Remember To Port Forward Later. I'm Still Hungry.

1.45AM:
Have To Restart PC.
Unexpected Windows Error Occured.
Likely Cause To Be Termination Of "explorer.exe"

2.10AM:
Restarted PC.
Proceeding With Database Management.

Note: I'm Freakin' Hungry.

2.30AM:
MySqL GUI Tools (MySQL Query Browser) Error-ed Upon 5Minutes Of Service.
Re-Installing It.

2.37AM:
Klarice Went Online At MSN.
She's Become Immature And Spiteful.

Note: I'm Still Freakin' Hungry.

FINALLY Fixed The MySQL Query Browser Fucked Up Gay Errors.
NOW Starting On The Damned Editing.

Realized I Forgot To Extract Some Scripts,
Extracted Them.
Starting NOW xD

25Scripts Speed-Typed.
Scanning And Auto-Fixing Any Errors.

MapleStory Private Server Configured!!~ (Celebrations!!~~~)
MapleStory Private Server Named "MoonLight MS".
MapleStory Private Server Rates: 200X EXP 75X Mesos 10X Drops
Proceeding To Compile All Data.

Note: I've Been Hit With Major Gastric, Taking A Rest To Cook Instant Noodles And EAT!!

4.14AM:
Port Forwarding Now.

4.48AM:
Port Forwarding Is Bloody Easy,
But Unfortunately, My Wireless Host PC Is Turned Off,
So I Cannot Forward My Port. =.=
Everything Is Still Compiling..

7.19AM:
Spent All The Time From 5+ AM Till Now To Continue Debugging And Tweaking The Settings.
Have Yet To Forward Port.
Forward Port Deemed Essential To Enter A Channel.

Note: Will Work On It When My Aunt Turns On The Source.

Final Notes:
Making A Private Server Is Relatively Painless, Patience Is Needed, Though.
I Experienced More Pain Simply Because My PC Is Simply Old.
If You're Thinking Of Creating Your Own Server, Just Make Sure It's One That Can Install Stuff Quick xD
Make Sure You Port Forward To 3306, 8484, 8485, 7100, 7101 THIS IS A MUST.

17Hours of Sleep

Hello..

Bloody Wasted 17Hours Of My Life Sleeping On A Sofa!
I Slept From 5am Till 10+pm. xD
That Was A Major Waste Of Time.

When I Woke Up, I Felt Like I Was Tortured While Asleep.
My Lips And Throat Were Super Dry, The Skin On My Lips Were Tearing, Whole Body Ached Like Crazy, Couldn't Think Straight And Basically I Felt Shitty.

I Felt Better After Brushing My Teeth And Touching My Computer xD

Recently Got Into Visual Basic, Wish I Could Say I Was A Pro At It.
Thing Is, I Don't Even Get It.

I Mean, I Understand And All, But I Can't Troubleshoot.
My VB Compiler Is Very Picky And Won't Let Me Type In My Code.
Even When I DO Type it In Correctly, It Says There's An Error. =.="

The Worst And Best Gathering

This Post Will Be For 30 May. xD
Why? Well, I Had Intended To Post Then, But I Fell Asleep Upon Reaching Home.

Pot-Luck

Well, I Was Informed About This Pot-Luck That My Primary School Friends Were Having At The LAST MOMENT.
(Don't You Just Hate That?)

So, I Didn't Know What To Get.
When I Called Up A Friend To Ask Her For What To Bring,
She Said, "Ruffles, Lots of Ruffles."

Well, I Did Just That.

I Got 5 Bags Of Ruffles Potato Chips.

I Put 2 Of Them Into My Bag And I Had To Carry The Other 3 In A Plastic Bag Like An Idiot.

Killing Time

Well, I had Arrived At Queenstown 2.5hrs Early And Had To Kill Time.

So I Decided To Visit Suntec City With Another 2Friends I Met Along The Way.

Man, When I Reached There, I Thought I Was At The Wrong Place.

It Had Changed So Much!

EVERYTHING Changed.

Size, Variety, Look, Appeal, Atmosphere, Amount Of People!

And I Saw A Cute Little Corner Where There Were Lotsa' Speedcubers.

They're Damn Freakin' Fast, Dammit.

Well, With About 1hr Left Till The Pot-Luck Then,

We Went Back To Queenstown To Head For Julene's Home (One Of The 2Friends I Met)

To Get Her Cupcakes, Her Contribution To The Pot-Luck.

In Order To Get There, Get The Cupcakes And Get To Queen's Condo,
We Had To Take A Shortcut.

Julene Asked if I Would Take The Shortcut, And I Was, Like, "Yea, Why Not?"

What I Did Not Know, Was That The Shortcut Involved Spending 15Minutes Walking Side-By-Side With A LongKang. =.="

We Managed To Get The Cupcakes And Reach Queen's Condo In Time, Though. xD

Anyway, After Playing The Rubik's Revenge There A Few Times,
We Watched Superhero Movie, Super Funny.

Yik In Showed Me A Bit Of What He's Learned At B-Boying.

Then, Mahadhir Suggested Going To Cyrus.
(A LAN Shop.)

There, The Whole Pot-Luck Fell Into A Quick Lunch.
All The Guys Gobbled Everything Up And Left.

I Stayed, Then, They Came Back After A While And Went,
"JUSTIN!! COME WITH US!! Must Play!"

So I Apologized To Lim Min And Everyone Else That I Pangseh Them.

And Also Cos' Now, There Was A Lot Of Unfinished Food.

All The Guys Went, Except For 4Of Them.

Leaving Them To Flirt With The Gals Left Behind.

I Didn't Wait For A Response And Left After That.

We Went To Cyrus By Taking A Bus And There,
We Played DotA.

Mahadhir And Jeremy Chng (Not To Be Confused With My Dumbass Bro) Were The Farmers Of The Game.

Dumbasses Spent More Time Farming Than Killing.

Hong Da, Short Little Kid, Was Good.

Unexpectedly Good.

The Worst Player Was Darren.

He Was The Only Feeder.

Then, We Finally Decided On Playing WTF Mode For The Final Game.

We Decided On No Mass Summoners And Global Casters.

Eg. Zeus, Lancer, Naga, etc.

It Was In That Game That Darren Finally Started Owning.

Potm, Spam Elune's Arrow And Starfall.

Then Leap Around To Escape Or Show Off. =.=

We Decided To Walk All The Way Till Our Old Primary School For Fun.

And On The Way, Near The Beginning Point,

So I Did.

There Were A Few People A Long The Way.

One Whole Family Was At The Park Where We Were Walking Through.

Along The Way, I Found Out That Darren Was Afraid Of Ghosts.

So I Took My Time Scaring Him And Playing Ghost Songs XD

We Finally Saw The Marking "1.6km" On The Road And Just Found Out We Weren't Even Halfway To School.

Finally, We Reached Our Destination And We All Split Up To Go home Cos' It Was Getting Late.

Then, I Realized Something.

My EZ-Link Ran Out Of Cash. =.="

How Could I Not Remember To Top Up My Own Card?

I Couldn't Take A Train Home.

And My Phone Had A Flat Battery.

So I Walked Around..

Slacked..

Asked For Directions..

Then Some Stranger Reminded Me That 855 Went Through The Queenstown Area.

A One-Ride Home.

Lucky Me, I Had 55Cents Exactly.

I Waited For The Bus, Boarded It And Damn.

The Bus Was Bloody Full!

So I Had To Stand All The Way Home.
